Haier is the fourth largest goods manufacturer and global consumer in electronic maker in today world. In 2008 they were ranked the 18th top 50 consumer electronic brand. They were also ranked in 2008-2009 the first for the third time in a row the top brand from china. These rankings consist of the entire leading consumer electronic brand from the four areas of North America, West Europe, Japan, Korea and China. This situation where by all the candidates will be assessed by people through online voting on TWICE’s global network of websites and at the end of the voting the final assessment will be made by expert from famous international enterprises. The expert will then show a clear concept of globalization and a strong desire to go global, and have detail strategies for their brands to develop in overseas market. Other criteria include global sales, achievement and the brand awareness. In 1999 Haier campaign there product with a three-in-one strategy: complete localization of design, manufacture and marketing. They now successfully provide high quality and energy efficient home appliances that are designed and manufactured in facilities all over the world, to over 160 countries.

In 2006, they focus on building a global recognized brand that competes with other electronics leaders. They achieve these goals by providing quality home appliances and energy product. According to the article the ranking of the global top 50 really encourage them to continue to globalize there strategy and bring home appliances and consumer electronics to people all over the world.

E-commerce

1)a. The system did not provide a graphical interface and did not provide for ad-hoc reporting. Students use a tool such as System Architect (Popkin Software) for creating the models.
b. The old system did not provide the ability to monitor student progress. The new system will need to capture this data of students register for designated classes in a batch process using the class rosters provided by the Colleague system. At the end of each semester, a batch of grade rosters will be used to enter the grades into the system too.
c. The old system was not even based on a file server architecture since the client PCs in the program were not part of a single LAN. Active Server Pages has built in objects for connecting to the database and for handling communication with the browser.
d. The old system did not support remote access. A web-enabled system would meet the need for remote access to a common database.
e. The old system did not meet the needs of the program like remotely access a single database, create a semester course schedule and to view student transcripts, reporting on student progress on completing prerequisites, exception reporting on students failing to meet program standards. The process is modeled using Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs). The top level DFD is the Context Diagram, shown as Figure 1, and it lays out the net inputs and outputs to the E-Administrator system. The system consists of 5 functions – Admissions, Registration, Scheduling, Reporting and Data Maintenance. The next level DFD is the System DFD, and it lays out the events associated with the functions.
In a conclusion, they developed a logical process model of the MSMIS system, a logical data model of the MSMIS system, a Network Architecture DFD, a Physical Schema, a prototype of the Reports, a prototype of the Input Forms, a prototype of the User Interface and describe some of the tools used in the construction of a system to solve problems.
